We are pleased to offer priority parking spaces near the entrance for families with young children and individuals with physical disabilities. Our facilities are wheelchair accessible to ensure everyone can move around comfortably.
As you enter, our greeting team will be pleased to welcome you and offer you a ministry guide. Parents can check in their children at the Sprouts table when they arrive. We have nursery and Sprouts Kids' Worship available each Sunday. The kids join us for singing at the beginning of our gathering, then follow Ms. DeeDee out before the sermon.
Our worship gathering begins with congregational singing in a contemporary style. Our songs are prayerfully chosen to teach Biblical truth and promote participation.
We continue in worship through the reading and preaching of God's Word. Our sermons typically last about 30 minutes and focus on expository preaching. This means we begin with the text of Scripture and work to uncover its meaning, rather than starting with a topic and imposing our own ideas onto the Bible.
We respond to God's Word each week with a time of prayer and Communion, sharing in the Lord's Supper together. Our Communion table is open to all believers and followers of Jesus, not just members of Live Oak Church.
We end each worship gathering by collecting an offering, cheerfully giving back a portion of what God has given to us. We believe our generosity is an investment in God's kingdom from Johns Island to the ends of the earth.
