SALVATION
We were created to worship God alone, but all have sinned by disobeying Him and failing to love Him as we should. The penalty for sin is spiritual death, yet God mercifully sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay that penalty in our place. Jesus calls all people to repent (turn from sin) and believe (trust in Him alone) for salvation. All who follow Jesus are forgiven, adopted into God's family, and given new, eternal life.
BAPTISM
Baptism is an outward expression of one's faith, publicly declaring that the believer is trusting and following Jesus. We practice believer's baptism in obedience to the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20. Baptisms are held at Beachwalker Park on Kiawah Island.
